Similarly, the bark of the fruit is effective against dysentery and diarrhoea. Fruit peel is used for dyeing cloth. It is a tree that thrives in light soil and low rainfall in drought-prone areas. Due to this, there is a huge increase in the area under cultivation of this crop.

Very good, poor soil to heavy, medium black and fertile soils are good for pomegranate cultivation, but well-drained alluvial or alluvial soil gives better yield. Similarly, this crop is suitable for light, murmad malran or hill slope lands. But it is necessary to drain the water in the soil.
